I’d scribble it on the back of receipts or take blurry phone photos of the cookbook page. Cooking didn’t come naturally to me at first — I burnt a lot of things. Like, a lot.
But something changed when I moved into my first apartment. I started cooking more, mostly out of necessity, and slowly it became something I actually enjoyed. I realized food wasn’t just about ingredients — it was about care, curiosity, and that quiet moment when someone goes “Mmm, what’s in this?”
This site is a little collection of recipes I’ve tried, tweaked, and totally messed up before getting them right. You’ll find family-style meals, quick dinners when you’re tired, and the occasional “this took three tries but it was worth it” dessert.
